EnergyGurad is Ideal for both indoor pools and outdoor pools suffering from algae.  Tests prove EnergyGuard inhibits algae growth. EnergyGuard has been designed to block light from entering outdoor pools, no light means no algae.

EnergyGuard offers outstanding thermal insulation, over 90% of a pools heat is lost through its water surface. The 500 micron thick EngeryGuard cover has a black underside and a dark blue topside, designed for maximum heat retention. The 500 micron thickness will ensure it outlasts conventional 400 micron covers. The material contains UV stabilisers and chemical resistant pigments, making it suitable for the harshest of European climates.

When fitted correctly your EnergyGuard Heat Retention Cover will eliminate pool water loss through evaporation, you will see a reduction in both your your energy and chemical usages. Most of the chlorine added to a pool water is lost due to photolysis (reaction with light). EnergyGuard filters out sunlight, therefore minimising algae growth in your pool.

The EnergyGuard cover can be used all year. A test in the UK proved that it has as many benefits as a winter pool cover. A swimming pool was covered with an Energy Guard cover and a woven mesh debris cover from October to April. No winter chemicals were added. The water was clear of algae after the 6 month period.

Filtration time can be cut by up to 50% when Algae growth is inhibited. This will greatly reduce your electricity usage. Filtration will still be required to remove dirt / impurities from the pool and to circulate water. A 50% reduction is achievable with regular pool use / bathing loads.

EnergyGuard has a 5 year pro-rata warranty in the United Kingdom.
