Our edged Pool Solar Covers float on the pools water surface to provide heat insulation, (especially overnight) and allow the sun’s rays to gently heat the pools water during the day.
These covers are thicker than Original Intex or Bestway Solar Covers and are manufactured for us by one of the largest and leading swimming pool factories here in the UK, they are rated to around 180 microns, most Above Ground Pool manufacturers do not rate their solar covers as they are in most cases a lot thinner.
A correctly fitted solar cover is one of the most efficient ways of reducing heat loss from a swimming pool over night, they work extremely well on Above Ground Garden Pools when used in conjunction with Pool Heaters, they should be fitted whenever you are not using the pool, you may leave a small gap between the cover and your pools walls.
Swimming Pool Solar Covers also help prevent unwanted debris from entering the pools water as they provide a blanket over the pools water surface.
