Solar Covers float on the pools water surface to provide heat insulation, (especially overnight) they allow the suns rays to gently heat the pools water during the day.
A correctly fitted solar cover is one of the most efficient ways of reducing heat loss from a swimming pool over night, they work extremely well on Wooden Pools when used in conjunction with Pool Heaters, solar covers should be fitted when ever you are not using the pool.
Solar covers also help prevent unwanted debris from entering the pools water.
