Spa Jets
All of our 2011 Hydrofun Hot Tubs have stainless steel jet accents, these are interchangeable with an on / off feature which can be manually controlled by the end user.

Hydrotherapy Pumps
EMG Italy supply our hydrotherapy pumps. These provide upto 302 Litres per minute. Where two pumps are fitted pump one provides low speed for massage & filtration cycles. When High speed is selected the second pump comes on additionally to pump one one's high speed mode for boosted water flow.
Note our Hydrofun Hot Tubs DO NOT use circulation pumps due to the poor turnover rates, reliability issues & the costs running of circulation pump systems.

Spa Controls

Standard setting is for filtration for two hours in every twelve. This gives a turnover rate of 72,480 litres per 24 hr day. In these spa's 100% of the water is turned over (filtered) 68 times in 24 hours (based upon a 1350 litre spa).
Filter cycles are fully adjustable but the factory setting is the minimum

All Hydrofun Hot Tubs are equipped with a 3kw tube type heater. This heater uses the two sensor system which measures the difference between water entering the heater and leaving to ensure that there is sufficient flow. This system is proven to be more reliable than the pressure type Balboa heater in application.
When the spa (435 only) is changed to 'plug 'n' play' mode (13 amp) this heater is switched for a 1.5kw unit. Additionally we change the EP ROM settings so when high speed pump is selected the heater turns off.

Air control
Hydrofun Hot Tubs DO NOT use air blowers but prefer the use of air induction. This air is drawn from the equipment bay to ensure its warm too. A valve on the topside of the shell enables the end user to shut off this supply.

This enables the draining of the spa down to the last 20mm or so of water from the footwell. There is a tap with hose connector located in the equipment bay to enable a fuss free drain down of all the water in the shell.
