Your spa water may look crystal clear, but that does not necessarily mean that it is healthy. Your spa water is constantly being polluted by the enviroment, dirt, leaves, pollen etc are introduced daily. Bathers will also introduce pollution to your pool water, sun tan lotions, hair shampoos etc, your filter will remove most of this debris, but you will still need to sanatise your pool or spa water to keep it clean.
Spa water needs to be sanitised to ensure bather safety. Bacteria will rapidly multiply in pool & spa water that remains unsanatised.
Chlorine is highly effective at destroying potentially harmful germs; it is also a very effective product for destroying algae. It is, by far, the most popular form of sanitiser for spa water.
Maintaining your spas water within the ideal pH range of between 7.2 and 7.6 will ensure that your spa water is neither corrosive nor scale forming. Running your spa water outside the pH range of 7.2 and 7.6 will also result in skin and eye discomfort, it will also result in equipment failure as some vital working parts will start to corrode.
From time to time the water in a spa may lose its sparkle, our Spa Clarifier will help to restore the sparkle/polish to the water.
Cosmetics, soaps and oils, if allowed to build up will in water will create foaming. The simple addition of our Spa No-foam will eliminate unwanted foam from spa water surfaces. (Spas experiencing excessive foaming should be drained and re-filled.
Filter and Cartridge Cleaner helps maintain clean and healthy filtration systems, adding Filter and Cartridge Cleaner should be part of a regular maintenance program.
