It is important to maintain a clean and healthy filtration system whether in a Pool or a Spa. Part of regular maintenance is the cleaning of sand or cartridges within the filter. Fun Fantastic Filter & Cartridge Cleaner is formulated to assist with this cleaning process.

Our Filter & Cartridge Cleaner is Extremely simple to use whether you have a Sand or Cartridge Filtration system.

For best results in your Sand Filter :

  • Backwash the filter tank, drain and isolate
  • Add at a rate of 250ml for a 18" Filter
  • Add at a rate of 500ml for a 24" Filter
  • Add at a rate of 750ml for a 30" Filter
  • Add at a rate of 1 Ltr for a 36" Filter

Fill your filter tank with water and allow to soak over night. Rinse thoroughly to waste for at least two minutes before returning your filter to normal service.

For best results for your Filter cartridges :

  • Remove cartridge and other screens from the unit and flush any soilings from the filter body, cartridge & screens
  • Soak overnight the cartridge and screens in a 5% solution of our Filter Cartridge cleaner
  • Rinse thoroughly, allow to dry and clean with a soft brush
  • Reassemble filter unit an dreturn to service.
