With most Above Ground Pool Owners BEING more consious than any other type of pool owner when it comes to heating installation options and costs, Solar Pod must be one of the winning solutions to overcome this concern and possibly the best Ecological way forward.
Solar Pod is not just suitable for Above Ground Pools, smaller sized In-ground pool owners can also enjoy the free benefits the system has to offer.
Solar Pod operates by harnessing the free energy from the sun and transferring it into our pools water, its "heat trap" technology with glass house effect captures energy within the ultra-clear polycarbonate dome and transfers heat to its polycarbonate heat exchanger.
Solar Pods clear dome reduces heat loss from its heat exchanger caused by wind exposure.
Solar Pods can be sited next to the pool or linked in series on a roof close to the pool, n.b. please note that is you are mounting your pod on a roof you will need a suitably powerful pump with a suitable head pressure.
Each pod is suitable for pools upto 4,500 litres. For larger pools simply connect several units in series, please refer to our table for recommendations on how many pods you should consider using.

Our Solar Pods are virtually maintenance free, simply wipe the Solar pods over with a non-abrassive cloth and store in a frost free location for the winter season.
Remember to select the number of pods you require from the drop down menu below before proceeding through checkout.
We also Sell Solar Pods Plus which are larger in size and are suitable for heating 9,000 Litres of water.
